Abstract

Until now the appearance of the film can cause its own effects and changes. Since the beginning of the history of the emergence of films, films are intended to entertain and make the audience amazed by the scenes shown in the film. Interesting scenes will make the audience feel the sensation of the excitement of the film they are watching. Over time the film industry in the world began to compete to produce films with themes that were expected to attract the audience so that they felt entertained and satisfied with the films they watched. Therefore, in addition to having a purpose to entertain, the film industry is currently also pursuing profit or profit from the films that have been produced. Solidarity theory was introduced in sociological theory by Emile Durkheim in 1858. Solidarity is a state of relationship between individuals and or groups based on moral feelings and beliefs that are shared and reinforced by shared emotional experiences. Solidarity emphasizes the state of relations between individuals and groups and underlies a common bond in life supported by moral values and beliefs that live in society. The type of research used in this research is qualitative. as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or oral data of people and observable behavior. The method that will be used in this research is the semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Pierce (Triangle of Meaning) with the assumption that the media is communicated in a set of signs by questioning how the sign works, and it is the task of semiotics to analyze it. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the semiotic analysis of Charles Sander Pierce used in analyzing several scenes of this documentary gives a message of strong solidarity from several indicators such as, working hand in hand to help, mutual cooperation in solving problems, strong cooperation in helping others, and high curiosity in seeking information and uncovering the truth. From the analysis found, these indicators fulfill the message of solidarity in the film don't fuck with cats. Keywords: Film, Solidarity Message, Semiotics. Hingga saat ini kemunculan film dapat menimbulkan efek dan perubahan tersendiri. Sejak awal sejarah munculnya film, film ditujukan untuk menghibur dan membuat penonton terkesima akan adegan-adegan yang ditunjukkan di dalam film tersebut. Adegan-adegan yang menarik akan membuat penonton merasakan sensasi tersendiri akan keseruan dari film yang ditontonnya. Seiring waktu industri film di dunia mulai berlomba-lomba memproduksi film dengan tema yang diharapkan dapat menarik penonton sehingga merasa terhibur dan puas akan film yang disaksikanya. Oleh karena itu di samping memiliki tujuan untuk menghibur, industri film saat ini juga mengejar laba atau keuntungan dari film yang telah di produksinya. Teori Solidaritas diperkenalkan dalam teori sosiologi oleh Emile Durkheim pada tahun 1858. Solidaritas merupakan suatu keadaan hubungan antara individu dan atau kelompok yang didasarkan pada perasaan moral dan kepercayaan yang dianut bersama dan diperkuat oleh pengalaman emosional bersama. Solidaritas menekankan pada keadaan hubungan antar individu dan kelompok dan mendasari keterikatan bersama dalam kehidupan dengan didukung nilai-nilai moral dan kepercayaan yang hidup dalam masyarakat. Tipe Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. sebagai prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa data-data tertulis atau lisan orang-orang dan perilaku yang dapat diamati. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce (Triangle of Meaning) dengan asumsi, media dikomunikasikan dalam seperangkat tanda dengan mempertanyakan bagaimana tanda tersebut bekerja, dan adalah tugas semiotika menganalisisnya. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Analisis semiotika Charles Sander Pierce yang digunakan dalam menganalisis beberapa scene film dokumenter ini memberikan pesan solidaritas kuat dari beberapa indikator seperti, saling bahu membahu untuk menolong, sifat gotong royong dalam memecahkan masalah, kerjasama yang kuat dalam membantu sesame, dan rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi dalam mencari informasi serta mengungkap kebenaran. Dari analisis yang ditemukan, indikator tersebut memenuhi pesan solidaritas dalam film don’t fuck with cats. Kata Kunci : Film, Pesan Solidaritas, Semiotika.
