Abstract
This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of transformational leadership, job promotions, and work motivation on employee engagement in improving employee quality. This type of research conducted at the Direktorat Jendral Kementrian Perhubungan located in Central Jakarta. This research was conducted on 75 employees using the interval descriptive approach. Analysis of the data used is statistical analysis in the saturated sample test, because the population is small. The results of this study indicate that the transformational leadership variables have a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, job promotion variables have a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, and work motivation variables have a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. This can be proven from the results of hypothesis showing the significance and the significance of the variables. Therefore, the test results of this study state that there is a positive influence on transformational leadership, job promotions and work motivation on employee engagement at the Direktorat Jendral Kementrian Perhubungan Cental Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional, promosi jabatan dan motivasi kerja terhadap employee engagement dalam meningkatkan mutu karyawan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei yang dilakukan pada Direktorat Jendral Kementrian Perhubungan yang berlokasi di Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 75 orang karyawan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif interval. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik dalam uji sample jenuh karena jumlah populasi sedikit. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement, variabel promosi jabatan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement, dan variabel motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan nilai signifikansi dan tidak signifikansinya variabel. Oleh karena itu, hasil uji dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif kepemimpinan transformasional, promosi jabatan dan motivasi kerja terhadap employee engagement di Direktorat Jendral Kementrian Perhubungan Jakarta Pusat.
