Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang melakukan kegiatan produksi selama 24 jam sehingga memerlukan maintenance yang baik untuk menjaga agar proses produksi tetap berjalan. Di Plant TCF, departemen mill electric, overhaul motor spindle merupakan salah satu cara untuk menjaga agar produksi tetap bisa berjalan 24 jam. Namun, terdapat permasalahan untuk proses overhaul motor spindle mesin DC tipe allma saurrer CC230, yaitu tidak diketahuinya apakah proses sudah efektif atau belum secara studi gerak, juga belum diketahui berapa waktu baku untuk pengerjaannya sehingga diperlukan penelitian. Setelah dilakukan penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan overhaul ini, terdapat beberapa metode yang belum efektif dan harus diperbaiki yaitu dari sisi gerakan kerja. Perbaikan juga dilakukan dari sisi tools dan layout guna mendukung perubahan gerakan kerja tersebut. Juga diketahui waktu baku sebelum dilakukan perbaikan tercatat 6402 detik atau 106.69 menit. Dengan jumlah pekerja tiga orang, dan 8 jam kerja per harinya, terhitung kapasitas overhaul pada departemen ini adalah 13 spindle/hari. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan terhadap proses overhaul tersebut, sehingga proses kerja menjadi efektif, dapat diketahui waktu baku akhir dari proses ini adalah 5941 detik atau 99.01 menit. Dengan jumlah pekerja dan jam kerja yang sama, kapasitas overhaul ini meningkat menjadi 14 spindle/hari. Kata kunci : overhaul, studi gerak, waktu baku. ABSTRACT PT. However, there is a problem for the allma saurrer CC230 type DC engine spindle overhaul, it is not known whether the process has been effective or not yet in motion studies, it is also not known what the standard time for the process is so that research is needed After doing the research, it can be concluded that this overhaul activity, there are several methods that have not been effective and must be improved, namely from the side of the work movement. Improvements were also made in terms of tools and layouts to support changes in the work movement. It is also known that the standard time before the repairs is carried out is 6402 seconds or 106.69 minutes. With three workers, and 8 working hours per day, the department's overhaul capacity is 13 spindles / day. After repairs to the overhaul process, so that the work process becomes effective, it can be seen that the final standard time of this process is 5941 seconds or 99.01 minutes.
