Abstract

Lion Air merupakan salah satu perusahaan maskapai penerbangan murah di Indonesia yang sering kali mengalami krisis, salah satu konsentrasi peneliti yakni krisis JT 610 Boeing 737 MAX 8. Hal inilah yang membuat perusahaan perlu melakukan tindakan manajemen krisis yang baik untuk menyelesaikannya agar citra dan reputasi perusahaan tetap terlihat baik di mata masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk menemukan cara manajemen krisis yang dilakukan oleh Lion Air pada krisis Lion Air JT 610 Boeing 737 MAX 8 dalam mempertahankan citra dan reputasi perusahaan. Metodologi yang digunakan oleh penulis yakni paradigma interpretif dimana memandang realitas sosial itu sesuatu yang dinamis, berproses dan penuh makna subjektif yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dalam penelitian ini di analisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskritif kualitatif yaitu dengan cara data yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan informan dideskritifkan secara menyeluruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tindakan Lion Air dalam menghadapi dan menyelesaikan krisis memiliki prosedur yang baik dengan menangani keluarga korban sekaligus melayani publik dengan fakta – fakta yang mereka punya dan dapatkan. Setelah krisis sudah reda, cara dari Lion Air untuk recover citra dan reputasi dari perusahaan maskapai tersebut yakni dengan menunjukan kepada publik bahwa kegiatan bisnis dari Lion Air ini terus berjalan baik dan tidak terpuruk ataupun menurun akibat dampak dari krisis JT 610 tersebut. This is what makes companies need to take good crisis management actions to solve it so that the company's image and reputation remain looks good in the eyes of the community. The purpose of this study is to find a way of managing the crisis carried out by Lion Air for JT 610 Boeing 737 MAX 8 in maintaining the company's image and reputation. The methodology used by the author is the interpretive paradigm that looking at social reality is something that is dynamic, processing and full of subjective meanings and obtained through interviews in this study analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis that is by means of data obtained from interviews with informants being thoroughly described. The results of the study show that Lion Air's actions in dealing with and resolving crises have good procedures by handling the families of victims while serving the public with the facts they have and get. After the crisis has solved, the way from Lion Air to recover the image and reputation of the airline company is to show the public that the business activities of Lion Air continue to run well and not deteriorate or decline due to the impact of the JT 610 crisis.
