Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between the sense of humor and employee engagement of employees at a PT.X. This research is a quantitative research which conclusions are obtained based on the results of statistical analysis. The population in this study were employees at PT.X with 182 respondents with a population sample technique. The data obtained through the questionnaire method. Previously, the questionnaire had been tested and tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is the person product moment correlation analysis. The results of the correlation analysis resulted in a correlation between the sense of humor and employee engagement among employees of PT.X. So that the proposed H1 can be accepted. This is based on the analysis of the person product moment correlation test of 0.257 with a significance level of 1%. So H1 which states that there is a correlation between a sense of humor and employee engagement can be accepted. Key words: sense of humor, employee engagement Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah korelasi antara sense of humor dengan employee engagement pada karyawan di suatu PT.X. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif yang kesimpulannnya diperoleh berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan di PT.X dengan responden 182 orang dengan teknik sampel populasi. Data yang diperoleh melalui metode quisioner. Sebelumnya quisiner diuji validitas dan diuji reliabilitas terlebih dahulu. Teknik analisi data yang digunakan ialah analisis korelasi person product moment. Hasil analisis korelasi menghasilkan adanya korelasi sense of humor dengan employee enggagement pada karyawan PT.X. Sehingga H1 yang diajukan dapat diterima. Hal ini berdasarkan analisis uji korelasi spss person product moment sebesar 0.257 taraf signifikansi 1%. Sehingga H1 yang menyatakan bahwa adanya korelasi antara sense of humor dengan employee engagement dapat diterima. Kata kunci :sense of humor, employee engagament
