Abstract
Coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX-Listed) in 2018 totaled 21 companies. The performance of these companies from one company to another has a high gap. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational, servant and breakthrough leadership on organizational performance by intervening variables of employee motivation and employee satisfaction. Respondents of this study were 15 coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is quantitative with probability sampling method with simple random sampling, the number of respondents is 201 samples. The data were processed and analyzed using SEM-AMOS (Structural Equation Model - Analysis of Moment Structures). Significance of the indirect effect using the Sobel Test. This study states that transformational leadership and breakthrough have a significant effect on employee motivation. Leadership breakthrough has a significant effect on employee satisfaction and employee satisfaction has an effect on organizational performance. Employee satisfaction mediates leadership breakthroughs on organizational performance. Transformation, servant and breakthrough leadership does not have a direct effect on organizational performance. The novelty in this research is to produce a new conceptual framework in leadership research and to add a test of breakthrough leadership variables. Perusahaan pertambangan batubara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX-Listed) pada tahun 2018 berjumlah 21 perusahaan. Kinerja perusahaan tersebut antara perusahaan satu dengan perusahaan yang lainnya terjadi gap yang cukup tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan pengaruh kepemimpinan transformational, servant dan breakthrough terhadap kinerja organisasi dengan intervening variabel motivasi karyawan dan kepuasan karyawan. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah 15 perusahaan tambang batubara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan metode pengambilan sampel probability sampling dengan simple random sampling, jumlah responden sebanyak 201 sampel. Data diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan SEM-AMOS (Structural Equation Model - Analysis of Moment Structures). Signifikansi pengaruh tidak langsung menggunakan Sobel Test. Penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kepemimpinan transformational dan breakthrough berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi karyawan. Kepemimpinan breakthrough berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan karyawan dan kepuasan karyawan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja organisasi. Kepuasan karyawan memediasi kepemimpinan breakthrough terhadap kinerja organisasi. Kepemimpinan transformation, servant dan breakthrough tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja organisasi. Novelty dalam penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan kerangka konseptual baru dalam penelitian kepemimpinan dan menambahkan pengujian variabel kepemimpinan breakthrough.
