Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of work stress, workplace environment, and leadership style to employee performance at commercial division PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk. The object of this research is employees at commercial division PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk, this research is conducted using quantitative descriptive approach with 122 respondents. The data is further analyzed using statistics analysis in the form of double linear regression test, with SPSS version 25 served as the analysis tool. The result of this research has shown that, either simultaneously or partially, the variables of work stress, workplace environment, and leadership style had influenced the employee performance at commercial division PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk. Beside variabel of workplace environment and leadership tha had a positive value, the variable of work stress also had a positive influence towards employee performance rather than a negative one as mentioned in the early hypothesis. Therefore, the accepted assumption would be: if the variable of work stress, workplace environment, and leadership style increased, the employee performance would increase as well. There was also a correlation between work stress, workplace environment, and leadership style at commercial division PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk. Keywords: work stress, workplace environment, leadership style, employee performance Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja, lingkungan kerja dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan di divisi komersil PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang berkerja di divisi komersil PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk, penelitian ini dilakukan pada 122 responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, dengan alat analisis SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa uji secara simultan, stres kerja, lingkungan kerja dan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan di divisi komersil PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk. Selain variabel lingkungan kerja dan gaya kepemimpinan yang mempunyai nilai positif, variabel stres kerja juga mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dimana tidak sesuai dengan hipotesis awal yang menyebutkan bahwa stres kerja mempunyai pengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena hal itu, asumsi dalam penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa jika variabel stres kerja, lingkungan kerja dan gaya kepemimpinan meningkat maka kinerja karyawan pun angkat meningkat, serta adanya hubungan pengaruh antara variabel stres kerja, lingkungan kerja dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan di divisi komersial PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk. Kata kunci : stres kerja, lingkungan kerja, gaya kepemimpinan , kinerja karyawan.
