Abstract

The government allocated a large budget for infrastructure development, thus promising business opportunities in the construction sector. This impacted the increasing number of construction service companies. The government issued regulations to provide direction for the growth of the construction industry. In facing intense competition, construction companies need specific and adequate management strategies. The success of construction projects determines customer satisfaction which affects the competitiveness of companies. This research aims to analyze the influence of government policies, management strategies, and project performance success on the competitiveness of construction service companies. The research was conducted on large construction service companies in East Java with a sample of 82 randomly selected companies. Data was collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed quantitatively using SPSS to test for Validity, Reliability, Normality, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Durbin-Watson, Linear Regression with Ttest, F-test to find the equation of influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The partial test results through the t-test showed that: (1) Government policy (X1) has a positive and significant influence on the competitiveness of construction service companies. (2) Management strategy (X2) has a positive and significant influence on the competitiveness of construction service companies. (3) Project performance success (X3) has a positive and significant influence on the competitiveness of construction service companies. (4) Of the three factors, management strategy is the most dominant influencing factor on the competitiveness of construction service companies. Keywords: Policies, Management Strategies, Successful Project Performance, Competitiveness of construction companies Pemerintah mengalokasikan anggaran besar untuk pembangunan infrastruktur, sehingga menjanjikan peluang bisnis di sektor konstruksi. Hal ini berdampak pada meningkatnya jumlah perusahaan jasa konstruksi. Pemerintah mengeluarkan regulasi untuk memberikan arah pertumbuhan industri konstruksi. Dalam menghadapi persaingan ketat, perusahaan konstruksi perlu strategi manajemen yang spesifik dan memadai. Keberhasilan proyek konstruksi menentukan kepuasan pelanggan yang mempengaruhi daya saing perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kebijakan pemerintah, strategi manajemen, dan keberhasilan kinerja proyek terhadap daya saing perusahaan jasa konstruksi. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan jasa konstruksi kelas besar di Jawa Timur dengan jumlah sampel 82 perusahaan yang dipilih secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan SPSS untuk pengujian dari Validitas, Reliabilitas, Normalitas, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Durbin-Watson, Regresi Liner dengan uji T, uji F sehingga ditemukakan persamaan pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil uji parsial melalui uji-t penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kebijakan pemerintah (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap daya saing perusahaan jasa konstruksi. (2) Strategi manajemen(X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap daya saing perusahaan jasa konstruksi. (3) Keberhasilan kinerja proyek (X3)berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap daya saing perusahaan jasa konstruksi. (4) Dari ketiga faktor tersebut, strategi manajemen merupakan faktor yang paling dominan pengaruhnya terhadap daya saing perusahaan jasa konstruksi.
