Abstract
Pangandaran Beach is a type of beach-based tourism that has natural potential, located in the southern part of West Java. The increasing number of tourist visitors has meant that the need for accommodation facilities on Pangandaran Beach has also increased. Various facilities were also built to support visitor comfort, such as accommodation, restaurants and others. However, as the amount of development in an area increases, other problems will arise, namely environmental issues which are currently increasingly becoming a special concern. Resort is one of the facilities that supports tourism. Resort development should be part of supporting government programs in regional development. The government itself provides inclusive targets by increasing local businesses in the tourism industry and increasing the number of certified local workers. The resort itself should be able to accommodate activities in marketing Indonesian tourism. In designing this resort hotel, the concept of a Biophilic Architecture approach was used. With the aim of creating, maintaining and presenting green space at this resort. Creating buildings and hotel resort environments that are harmonious and balanced with natural elements. Pantai Pangandaran merupakan salah satu pariwisata berbasis pantai yang mempunyai potensi alam yang terletak di bagian selatan Jawa Barat. Jumlah pengunjung wisata yang meningkat, membuat kebutuhan akan fasilitas akomodasi di Pantai Pangandaran pun ikut meningkat. Berbagai fasititas pun turut dibangun untuk menunjang kenyamanan pengunjung, seperti akomodasi, restoran dan lain-lain. Namun seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah pembangunan pada suatu daerah akan memunculkan permasalahan lain yaitu terkait isu-isu lingkungan yang dewasa ini semakin menjadi perhatian khusus. Resort merupakan salah-satu fasilitas yang menunjang pariwisata. Pengembangan resort seharusnya dapat menjadi bagian yang dapat mendukung program pemerintah dalam pengembangan daerah. Pemerintah sendiri memberikan sasaran inklusif dengan meningkatkan usaha lokal dalam industri pariwisata dan meningkatkan jumlah tenaga lokal yang 2 tesertifikasi. Resort sendiri seharusnya dapat menampung kegiatan dalam memasarkan pariwisata indonesia. Dalam Perancangan resort Hotel ini, menggunakan konsep pendekatan Arsitektur Biofilik. Dengan tujuan menciptakan, memelihara dan menghadirkan ruang hijau pada resort ini. Menciptakan bangunan dan lingkungan resort hotel yang harmoni dan seimbang dengan unsur alam.
