Abstract

In the modern era, everyone receives information from external sources more rapidly. One of the impacts of this is on the arts in Indonesia. The introduction of contemporary art has increased public interest in visiting museums. However, the number of contemporary museums in Indonesia is still limited. Post-modern architectural concepts are characterized by their freedom and lack of strict rules, focusing on harmony and spatial relationships that create an impression on visitors. This presents a challenge for professionals to incorporate post-modern principles into the design of contemporary museums. Additionally, integrating local cultural elements is essential to ensure acceptance by a broad audience. Keywords: Post-Modern, Museum, Contemporary Art Di era modernisasi ini semua orang lebih cepat menerima informasi apapun dari luar. Salah satunya memengaruhi terhadap keseninan di Indonesia. Masuknya seni kontemporer membuat animo masyarakat untuk mendatangi museum semakin tinggi. Museum kontemporer di Indonesia masih jumlahnya masih sedikit. Konsep bangunan post-modern bersifat bebas dan tidak terikat aturan baku, dengan mengedepankan harmonisasi dan hubungan ruang yang memunculkan kesan bagi pengunjung didalamnya. Sebuah tantangan bagi kalangan professional agar dapat menerapkan prinsipprinsip post modern kedalam perancangan museum kontemporer. Memasukan unsur budaya lokal supaya dapat diterima oleh semua kalangan masyarakat. Kata kunci : Post-Modern , Museum, Seni Kontemporer
