Abstract

In an effort to meet the needs of the people of the city of Jakarta for a moment to escape from the daily routine, namely a means of refreshing and relaxation that can be obtained from a place with beautiful scenery and lodging accommodation with complete facilities. So a resting place that can meet these needs is needed, namely a hotel. The purpose of this design is to make Discovery Ancol hotel as a means of lodging accommodation, especially for business people, as well as tourists and able to create a business hotel atmosphere that can support the needs of refreshing and relaxation. The design method is through the stages of data collection, data analysis to get a concept that fulfills functional, aesthetic and philosophical. The result of this design is using the biophilic concept. The application of this concept provides a feel that makes users closer to nature and makes the hotel feel fresh and peaceful. The biophilic concept uses natural materials such as wood and natural stone. The application of the material appears on the floor, namely the use of natural stone material as a decorative element. The use of wood material appears on the reception backdrop with a curved shape resembling waves and wall decorations in the lounge area combined with forest wallpaper giving the impression of recreation and relaxation. The use of wood material also appears in the column structure and ceiling using wpc material. Materials with wood motifs also appear in the hotel room area which creates a natural impression. Other supports to provide an atmosphere of relaxation appear in the lobby area and hotel rooms where there are several plants so that the room becomes fresh and peaceful. In conclusion, the application of a hotel atmosphere with natural nuances can be used to support the needs of refreshing and relaxation at the Discovery Ancol hotel. Dalam upaya memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat kota Jakarta untuk sejenak melepaskan diri dari rutinitas sehari-hari yaitu sarana untuk refreshing dan relaksasi yang dapat diperoleh dari tempat dengan pemandangan indah serta akomodasi penginapan dengan fasilitas lengkap. Maka diperlukan tempat peristirahatan yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut yaitu hotel. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah menjadikan hotel Discovery Ancol sebagai sarana akomodasi penginapan khususnya bagi pelaku bisnis, maupun wisatawan dan mampu menciptakan suasana hotel bisnis yang dapat menunjang kebutuhan refreshing dan relaksasi. Metode perancangan melalui tahap pengumpulan data, analisa data untuk mendapatkan konsep yang memenuhi fungsi, estetik dan filosofis. Hasil dari perancangan ini yaitu menggunakan konsep biophilic. Penerapan konsep ini memberikan nuansa yang membuat para pengguna lebih dekat dengan alam dan membuat hotel terasa segar dan damai. Konsep biophilic menggunakan material material alami seperti kayu dan batu alam. Penerapan material muncul pada lantai yaitu penggunaan material batu alam sebagai elemen dekoratif. Penggunaan material kayu muncul pada backdrop resepsionis dengan bentuk lengkung menyerupai ombak serta dekorasi dinding pada area lounge yang dipadukan dengan wallpaper bergambar hutan memberikan kesan rekreatif dan relaksasi. Penggunakan material kayu juga muncul pada tiang kolom struktur serta ceiling yang menggunakan material wpc. Material dengan motif kayu juga muncul pada area ruang kamar hotel yang menciptakan kesan alami. Penunjang lain untuk memberikan suasana relaksasi muncul pada area lobby dan kamar hotel dimana terdapat beberapa tanaman sehingga ruangan tersebut menjadi segar dan damai. Kesimpulan penerapan suasana hotel dengan nuansa alami dapat digunakan sebagai penunjang kebutuhan refreshing dan relaksasi pada hotel Discovery Ancol.
