Abstract

Sal Priadi, as one of the singers and actors who utilize social media as a platform to build their personal brand. The use of Instagram aligns with the goal of easier self-branding in front of the public through social media utilization. This research aims to conduct descriptive analysis of Salmantyo Ashrizky Priadi's personal branding through the Instagram platform, focusing on the @salpriadi account. Sal Priadi is a rising singer and musician on social media, focusing on the indie pop genre, which appeals to the taste of most young people today. Through a qualitative approach, this study explores various elements contributing to Salmantyo Ashrizky Priadi's personal branding, including posted content, communication style, interaction with followers, and his social media image associated with the Authentic Personal Branding Theory proposed by Rampersad. Data collection methods involve direct observation of the @salpriadi Instagram account and content analysis of published posts. Additionally, interviews with the research subject are conducted to gain a deeper understanding of the strategies and goals behind the established personal branding. The results of this research indicate that Salmantyo Ashrizky Priadi on the Instagram platform meets 11 criteria of Authentic Personal Branding. From the data gathered in this study, there are three main criteria implemented by Sal Priadi to build his Personal Branding on his Instagram account: Consistency, Distinctiveness, and Goodwill. Keywords : Descriptive Analysis, Personal Branding, Social Media, Instagram. Sal Priadi, sebagai salah satu penyanyi sekaligus aktor yang menggunakan media sosial sebagai wadah untuk membangun personal brand dirinya. Penggunaan media sosial Instagram ini, selaras pemanfaatan media sosial agar lebih mudah membranding diri sendiri di depan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis deskriptif terhadap personal branding Salmantyo Ashrizky Priadi melalui platform media sosial Instagram, dengan fokus pada akun Instagram @salpriadi. Sal Priadi adalah seorang penyanyi dan musisi yang sedang naik daun di sosial media. Dia berfokus pada genre pop indie yang menjadi selera musik kebanyakan anak muda pada saat ini. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, studi ini mengeksplorasi berbagai elemen yang berkontribusi terhadap personal branding Salmantyo Ashrizky Priadi, termasuk konten yang diposting, gaya komunikasi, interaksi dengan pengikut, dan citra sosial medianya yang dikaitkan dengan Teori Authentic Personal Branding yang dikemukakan oleh Rampersad. Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi langsung terhadap akun Instagram @salpriadi dan analisis konten dari postingan yang dipublikasikan. Selain itu, wawancara dengan subjek penelitian dilakukan untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang strategi dan tujuan di balik personal branding yang telah dibangun. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Salmantyo Ashrizky Priadi di platform Instagram memenuhi 11 kriteria Authentic Personal Branding. Dari data yang didapat dalam penelitian ini, ada 3 kriteria utama yang dilakukan oleh Sal Priadinuntuk membangun Personal Branding di akun Instagramnya yaitu Consitency, Distinctiveness, dan Goodwill.
