Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, company size, asset structure, and non-debt tax shield on capital structure in consumer cyclicals subsector companies in the consumer services sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2022. The research population was 46 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used was 16 companies, carried out by means of purposive sampling method. The analysis method used in this research is panel data multiple regression analysis using EViews software. This research proves that profitability has no effect on capital structure. Company size has no effect on capital structure. Asset structure affects capital structure. Nondebt tax shield affects capital structure. Keywords: Profitability, Company Size, Asset Structure, Non-Debt Tax Shield, and Capital Structure Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, struktur aset, dan non-debt tax shield terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan sektor consumer cyclicals sub sektor consumer services yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2018-2022. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 46 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel yang dipergunakan adalah sebanyak 16 perusahaan, dilakukan dengan cara metode purposive sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis regresi berganda data panel dengan menggunakan software EViews. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. Ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. Struktur aset berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. Non-debt tax shield berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. Kata Kunci: Profitabilitas, Ukuran Perusahaan, Struktur Aktiva, Non-Debt Tax Shield, dan Struktur Modal.
