Abstract
The increasing development of infrastructure in Indonesia is in line with the use of renewable natural resources and environmental conservation that is increasingly being voiced. It is needed concrete steps that must be taken to make effective waste use in Indonesia. The enhancements of infrastructure development can be done by utilizing building waste. It is namely the utilization of unused material remnants. The usable waste is ceramic fragments waste that has not been optimally utilized. This study aims to know the effect of utilization and the result of differences in compressive strength of mixed concrete ceramic waste with unmixed normal concrete. Mix Design uses the SNI 2656 – 2012 method for concrete quality f'c 20 Mpa with 72 samples of specimens. The used test object are cylinders with a size of 15 cm x 30 cm using variations of ceramic waste 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% of the total weight of fine aggregate (sand). The results of testing the compressive strength of cylindrical concrete states that the substitution of Ceramic Waste has the highest compressive strength of 50% LK variation at the age of 28 days, which is 25.35 MPa. However, there was a reduction in the compressive strength of 75% LK variation at the age of 28 days which was 21.95 MPa. Key Words : Ceramic waste, concrete compressive strength, fine aggregate substitution Sejalan dengan meningkatnya pembangunan infrastrukstur di Indonesia, penggunaan sumber daya alam terbarukan dan pelestrian lingkungan semakin kuat disuarakan. Untuk mencapai sasaran tersebut, perlu ada langkah-langkah konkret yang harus dilakukan untuk mengefektifkan pemanfaatan limbah di Indonesia. Peningkatan terhadap pembangunan infrastruktur dapat dilakukan dengan pemanfaatan limbah bangunan, yaitu pemanfatan sisa material yang tidak terpakai. Limbah yang dapat dimanfaatkan adalah limbah pecahan keramik yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan dan hasil perbedaan nilai kuat tekan beton campuran limbah keramik dengan beton normal tanpa campuran. Mix Design menggunakan metode SNI 2656 – 2012 untuk mutu beton f’c 20 Mpa dengan jumlah benda uji 72 sampel. Benda uji yang digunakan berbentuk silinder dengan ukuran 15 cm x 30 cm menggunakan variasi limbah keramik 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% dari jumlah berat agregat halus (pasir). Dari hasil pengujian kuat tekan beton silinder menyatakan bahwa substitusi Limbah Keramik mendapatkan hasil kuat tekan yang paling tinggi variasi LK 50% pada umur 28 hari yaitu sebesar 25,35 MPa. Kemudian mengalami penurunan kuat tekan variasi LK 75% pada umur 28 hari yaitu sebesar 21,95 Mpa. Kata Kunci : Limbah Keramik, kuat tekan beton, subsitusi agregat halu
