Abstract

The era of globalization has an impact on changes in various aspects, including increasingly high business competition. The increasing number of competitors and high business competition requires organizations to have high knowledge and abilities be able to compete. Changes that occur due to globalization require companies to be able to establish strategies related to improving performance. The tire company in Banten is one of the tire companies which are faced with a business competition where the company has a fairly tight competitor. The plant T building department is one of the parts in the organizational structure of a tire company in Banten, where the department is also required to meet the performance indicators set by the company. Many factors affect employee performance, including training, work discipline, and organizational commitment. This study aims to determine the effect of training, work discipline, and organizational commitment on employee performance in tire companies in Banten. This study uses a quantitative approach with data analysis in testing the measurement model and testing the structural model using SmartPLS version 3.2.7 software. The results showed that training had a significant effect on employee performance, work discipline had a significant effect on employee performance, the organizational commitment had a significant effect on employee performance, and training, work discipline and organizational commitment had a significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: Training, work discipline, organizational commitment, and employee performance Era globalisasi berdampak terhadap perubahan dalam berbagai aspek, termasuk ketatnya persaingan bisnis Banyaknya kompetitor dan tingginya persaingan bisnis menuntut organisasi memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan tinggi untuk bersaing. Perubahan akibat globalisasi mengharuskan perusahaan menetapkan strategi peningkatan kinerja. Perusahaan ban di Banten merupakan salah satu perusahaan tire (ban) yang menghadapi persaingan bisnis dan memiliki competitor yang cukup ketat. Departemen building plant T merupakan salah satu bagian yang ada di dalam struktur organisasi perusahaan yang dituntut untuk dapat memenuhi indikator kinerja yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, diantaranya pelatihan, disiplin kerja, dan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan, disiplin kerja, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dalam menguji model pengukuran dan model struktural dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS versi 3.2.7. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, komitmen organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan pelatihan, disiplin kerja dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata kunci : pelatihan, disiplin kerja, komitmen organisasi dan kinerja karyawan.
