Abstract
Media promotion of Padang rice box packaging design in Indonesia, especially in Jabodetabek is increasingly developing in an interesting and creative way. Some promotional media include business cards, banners, brochures, banners and billboards. Promotion plays a role in all fields, especially the design of nasi padang box packaging, but there are still many packaging designs that the promotion process is inaccurate or non-existent so that it does not get the attention of the target consumers. Keywords: packaging design, rice boxes and promotions. Media promosi desain kemasan nasi kotak padang di indonesia khususnya di jabodetabek semakin berkembang secara menarik dan kreatif. Beberapa media promosi mencakup kartu nama, banner,brosur,spanduk dan billboard. Promosi memegang peran didalam segala bidang terutama desain kemasan nasi kotak padang,tetapi masih banyak desain kemasan yang proses promosinya kurang tepat atau tidak ada sehingga tidak memperoleh perhatian dari target sasaran konsumen.
