Abstract
Hotels are a place to rest as well as relax, but it is not uncommon for hotels to be used as places for formal events as facilities and infrastructure for business interests. Then realized the business hotel as efficiency in the implementation of business meetings. In its implementation, business hotels must support effectiveness in accommodation, especially for locations that are on the water's edge, with conditions in Jakarta that are close to the sea. By applying the concept of water front design in its processing, business hotels located on the outskirts of the sea support accommodation and comfort in activities in buildings. By looking at the climatic conditions in Jakarta to support indoor comfort, the application of tropical modern architecture is in order to build a comfortable atmosphere and remain in accordance with the climatic conditions in Jakarta, Indonesia, namely tropical and modern to support the use of buildings as business hotels. Keywords: Business Hotel, Water Front Design, Tropical Modern. Hotel merupakan tempat untuk beristirahat juga bersantai, tapi tidak jarang hotel dijadikan tempat untuk acara – acara formal sebagai sarana dan prasarana kepentingan bisnis. Maka terwujudlah hotel bisnis sebagai efisiensi dalam pelaksanaan pertemuan bisnis. Dalam perwujudannya hotel bisnis haruslah mendukung ke efektifan dalam akomondasi, terkhusus untuk lokasi yang berada di pinggiran perairan, dengan kondisi tempat di Jakarta yang dekat dengan laut. Dengan menerapkan konsep water front design dalam pengolahannya, hotel bisnis yang berada di pinggiran laut mendukung dalam akomondasi dan kenyamanan dalam beraktifitas di bangunan. Dengan melihat kondisi iklim di Jakarta untuk mendukung kenyamanan dalam ruangan, penerapan arsitektur modern tropis agar dapat membangun suasana yang nyaman dan tetap sesuai dengan kondisi iklim di Jakarta, Indonesia yaitu tropis dan modern untuk mendukung kegunaan bangunan sebagai hotel bisnis. Kata Kunci : Hotel Bisnis, Water Front Design, Modern Tropis.
