Abstract

This study designed the lean manufacturing concept in the clean water testing laboratory process of PT. XYZ to solve the delay. This study aims to identify the causes of waste and how to reduce waste in the clean water analysis process by implementing lean manufacturing. The results showed that the factors causing waste in the clean water analysis process at PT. XYZ is waiting and unnecessary motion. This study provides recommendations for improvements to overcome the problem of waste that occurs in PT. XYZ using the Value Stream Mapping method. Clean water analysis business processes can save time through the application of appropriate lean concepts to improve the quality of laboratory services at PT. XYZ. Keywords: lean, laboratory services, waste, value stream mapping Penelitian ini merancangan konsep lean manufacturing pada proses laboratorium pengujian air bersih PT. XYZ untuk mengatasi keterlambatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab terjadinya waste dan cara mengurangi waste pada proses analisa air bersih dengan menerapkan lean manufacturing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab terjadinya waste pada proses analisa air bersih di PT. XYZ adalah waiting dan unnecessary motion. Penelitian ini memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan pemborosan yang terjadi di PT. XYZ dengan menggunakan metode Value Stream Mapping. Proses bisnis analisa air bersih dapat menghemat waktu melalui penerapan konsep lean yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan laboratorium PT. XYZ.
