Abstract
The use of Discord’s App Chatting game as an online learning media is a rare thing. PSKD Foundation have load 15 schools from the primary school, junior high school, and even senior high school that use this application as a tool in the learning process when the Minister of Education and Culture have given the detail about the procedure of distance leaening using 12 recommended learning application in the Minister of Education and Culture legal website. This research’s purpose is to discover and analyze the communication model from PSKD Foundation learning process in the discord application. Besides that this research aims to see discord app from the glasses of the social construction of technology theory. In this research, writer use some main theory like Instructional Communication, Social construction of technology, Interactional Model Communication, and up to The social cyber reality. This research use the qualitative closure as well as Constructivism Paradigm. With the help of technique analysis cyber media data as the technique analysis data. The writer use the interview method to interview the 10 research subject starting from Curriculum Coordinator and up to the students itself and observation method to observe towards the participant as a multimedia teacher in SMK PSKD III to collect the data. This research’s result have succeeded to formulate a distance learning model communication using the discord app with a certain things to be highlighted which is the process of the students and teacher entering the virtual classroom in the discord app, the communication that is happening between the students and the teacher, disturbance, and also the feedback that are given by the coordinator and the principle. There are two shape of model communication that happened during this learning process. In this research, the writer also want to ask the reader to see the movement of model communication from the direct learning to distance learning using the discord app from the social construction of technology. Keywords: Discord, Online Learning , Model of Communication, Social construction of technology Penggunaan Aplikasi Chating Game Discord sebagai media pembelajaran online merupakan sesuatu hal yang jarang terjadi. Yayasan PSKD memuat 15 sekolah mulai dari satuan Pendidikan SD , SMP , bahkan SMA/SMK menggunakan aplikasi ini untuk keperluan proses ajar mengajar disaat kemendikbud memberikan paparan secara terperinci mengenai pedoman proses pembelajaran jarak jauh menggunakan 12 aplikasi pembelajaran rekomendasi di halaman resmi kemendikbud. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Model komunikasi dari kegiatan belajar mengajar Yayasan PSKD di dalam aplikasi Discord ? selain itu penelitian ini diharapkan dapat melihat Discord dalam kacamata teori social construction of technology. Pada Penelitian ini, Penulis menggunakan beberapa Teori Inti seperti Komunikasi Instruksional, Social construction of technology, Model Komunikasi Interaksional serta sampai pada Realitas sosial siber. Penelitian ini menggunakan Pendekatan Kualitatif serta menggunakan Paradigma Konstruktivisme. Dengan bantuan teknik analisis data media siber sebagai teknik analisis data. Penulis menggunakan Metode pengumpulan data dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi partisipan sebagai guru bidang studi multimedia di SMK PSKD III serta berhasil melakukan wawancara kepada 10 subjek penelitian mulai dari Koordinator Kurikulum sampai kepada Murid SD. Hasil Penelitian ini telah berhasil merumuskan sebuah model komunikasi pembelajaran jarak jauh menggunakan aplikasi Discord dengan hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan, yaitu Proses masuk Siswa dan Guru ke kelas virtual yang terdapat di Discord, Komunikasi yang terjadi antara Guru dan siswa , Gangguan , serta umpan balik yang diberikan kepada Koordinator serta Kepala Sekolah. Terdapat dua buah bentuk-bentuk komunikasi didalam komunikasi yang terjadi didalam pembelajaran jarak jauh menggunakan discord. Dalam penelitian ini , penulis juga ingin mengajak pembaca melihat pergeseran model komunikasi pembelajaran tatap muka ke model komunikasi pembelajaran jarak jauh menggunakan aplikasi discord dari social construction of technology.
