Abstract

Children with special needs are children with special characteristics who do not always show limitations in terms of physical, mental, or emotional development. Children with autism include children with special needs who have deficiencies and have capabilities below average compared to normal children. Education is critical for children with special needs, especially given the rapid advancement of technology today, which necessitates a new breakthrough in education. Digital games are currently the preferred medium for all people, as well as children with autism. Educational games are a solution to making it easier to understand the material, especially in learning about shapes and colors, so a Mobile Game Application User Interface Design for Autistic Children "Mari Bermain". Methods for data collection, namely interviews, observations, literature studies, and literature reviews. This mobile game application can help stimulate cognitive intelligence, motor intelligence, and communication responses. It is hoped that the Design of Mobile Game Application User Interfaces for Autistic Children can help the teaching and learning process for autistic children by using Android smart device technology. Mobile Game Applications for Autistic Children are not only a game but also a medium for educational and socialization games for autistic children. Keywords: Children's Games, Children with Special Needs, Autism, Android. Anak berkebutuhan khusus adalah anak dengan karakter spesial, yang tidak selalu menunjukkan pada keterbatasan dalam hal fisik, mental atau emosi. Autis termasuk dari anak berkebutuhan khusus yang mempunyai kekurangan dan mempunyai kapabilitas di bawah rata-rata dan berbeda dibanding anak normal. Pendidikan sangat penting untuk anak berkebutuhan khusus apalagi dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini sangatlah pesat, sehingga dalam pembelajaran diperlukan suatu terobosan baru dalam pendidikan. Permainan digital saat ini menjadi media yang disukai semua kalangan, begitu juga anak autis. Permainan edukasi adalah sebuah solusi dalam mempermudah memahami materi, khususnya dalam belajar mengenai bangun datar dan warna, maka dibuatlah Perancangan User Interface Aplikasi Game Mobile untuk Anak Autis “Mari Bermain”. Metode untuk pengumpulan data, yaitu dengan wwancara, observasi, studi pustaka serta literatur. Dengan Aplikasi Game Mobile ini dapat membantu menstimulasi kecerdasan kognitif, kecerdasan motorik serta menstimulasi respon komunikasi. Diharapkan Perancangan User Interface Aplikasi Game Mobile untuk Anak Autis dapat membantu proses belajar mengajar untuk anak autis dengan menggunakan teknologi gawai pintar android. Perancangan User Interface Aplikasi Game Mobile untuk Anak Autis ini bukan hanya permainan melainkan menjadi media game edukasi dan sosialisasi bagi anak autis.
