Abstract

In the business and manufacturing industry, time is one measure of success in the competitive manufacturing industry, thus making the company to reduce the variety of processes that do not value added to the products, thus pushing to make the program bussiness process, which is used as a timing reference standard in determining the time of his process so that there is no delay time production process. To overcome these problems, by using the method of mapping process, each stage of the production process milk is portrayed clearly to find a stage that does not value added directly to the product, then combine with kaizen using root cause analysis in order to know the root cause of all stages of a long process in stages that do not have a direct added value to the product. The purpose of this research is to reduce the processing time does not add value to a product, namely by making improvements to reduce the time quarantine of in process milk products in infant formula. Based on the results of data processing, it is known that the phase of a process that does not value added directly to the product is the time quarantine of in process milk products in infant formula, slower than the target times, by optimizing time of the weighing phase of pre-enrichment,the incubation phase of enrichment and the incubation phase of inoculation, and then after improve the time of quarantine of in process milk products in infant formula is faster than previous and already meet the target date set by the Company Bussiness Process.
