Abstract
Nowadays development of technology makes the community become an information society. Information is obtained through the internet by accessing social media, especially YouTube by using smart phones. YouTube is a site that is visited by many people all over the world to find information in the form of videos which now is created by content creators. This research was conducted to find out and analyze the strategy of the culinary content creator, specifically Enjoyaja's account to increase subscribers and viewers on YouTube by using communication strategy. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The research method that used is a case study by conducting in-depth interviews with informants. The results of this study is discuss the communication strategies undertaken by culinary content creator, especially Enjoyaja accounts, to increase subscribers and viewers on YouTube. Therefore, researcher could get the conception of Enjoyaja's strategy to increase subscribers and viewers on YouTube. This study concludes that the communication strategy undertaken by Enjoyaja to increase subscriber and viewer is consistency in uploading videos and it also be scheduled, delivering good quality content to the audience, close engagement with the audience on YouTube and other social media accounts, creating promotions that attract the attention of the audiences, and understanding of YouTube's algorithmic system.
