Abstract

ABSTRAK Perusahaan otomotif ini adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang komponen otomotif sepeda motor. Produk utamanya yaitu Disk Brake. Perusahaan otomotif menghasilkan rata-rata produk cacat pada produksi Disk Brake periode Januari 2019 – Desember 2019 sebesar 1.72% sedangkan batas toleransi dari perusahaan sebesar 1% dimana terdapat selisih 0.72%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi jumlah cacat dengan memberikan rekomendasi usulan perbaikan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) dengan menghitung nilai sigma perusahaan serta menggunakan tools FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) untuk memberikan usulan perbaikan terhadap permasalahan. Tahap Define membuat diagram SIPOC dan CTQ (Critical To Quality). Pada tahap Measure, hasil perhitungan nilai sigma diperoleh DPMO sebesar 3446,41 dengan nilai sigma sebesar 4.20. Jenis cacat paling dominan pada Disk Brake adalah material tipis berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan diagram pareto di tahap Analyze serta diperoleh penyebab cacat Disk Brake menggunakan fishbone diagram. Pada tahap Improve, perhitungan FMEA didapatkan faktor penyebab masalah yang paling potensial yaitu ketersediaan komponen dengan nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) sebesar 448 dan analisis 5W + 1H diperoleh usulan perbaikan untuk membuat jadwal perawatan dan penggantian komponen secara berkala. Kata Kunci: Disk Brake, Cacat, DMAIC, FMEA ABSTRACT This Automotive Company is a company engaged in the field of automotive motorcycle components. The approved product is Disk Brake. The automotive company produces an average of defective products in the Disk Brake production period January 2019 – December 2019 of 1.72% while the upper limit of the company is 1% where there is a difference of 0.72%. This research helps reduce the number of defects by providing improvements. The method used is DMAIC (Determine, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) by calculating the value of company sigma and also using FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) tools to provide assistance to repair challenges. The Define Stage makes SIPOC and CTQ (Critical To Quality) diagrams. In measuring, the results of the calculation of sigma value obtained by DPMO amounted to 3446.41 with a sigma value of 4.20. The most dominant type of defect in Disk Brake is thin material based on the results of analysis using pareto diagrams in motion analysis Analyzing also obtained the causes of Brake defects using fishbone diagrams. In the Enhancing phase, the FMEA calculation collects the factors causing the most potential problems caused by components with an RPN (Risk Priority Score) of 448 and an analysis of 5W + 1H obtained the improvements needed to make a maintenance schedule and replace the related components as a whole.
