Abstract

This study aims to find out correlation between intensity of seeing da'wah and religious orientation in early adulthood. The subjects in this study were early adults aged 18-40 years, who followed a da’wah account on Instagram. Sampling collection uses accidental sampling, with a total sample of 409 participants, consisting of 187 men and 222 women. This study uses SPSS version 20.0. The method used in this study is a quantitative correlational type. In this study used two scale, intensity scale, and religious orientation scale uses The New Indices of Religious Orientation Revised (NIROR). Based on the results of hypothesis testing used Rank-Spearman correlation technique, the coefficient correlation value is 0.175 with a significant level of 0.000 (p <0.05). This indicates a significant correlation between the intensity of seeing da'wah on instagram with religious orientation in early adulthood. keywords : intensity, da’wah, instagram, religious orientation Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara intensitas melihat dakwah dan orientasi religius. Subjek yang digunakan adalah dewasa awal yang berusia 18-40 tahun pengguna instagram yang melihat dakwah di instagram. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu accidental sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 409 partisipan yang terdiri dari 187 laki-laki dan 222 perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS versi 20.0. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua skala, yaitu skala intensitas, dan skala orientasi religius menggunakan The New Indices of Religious Orientation Revised (NIROR). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik korelasi Rank-Spearman, didapatkan nilai korelasi koefisien sebesar 0.175 dengan taraf signifikan sebesar 0.000 (p < 0.05). Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara intensitas melihat dakwah di instagram dengan orientasi religius pada dewasa awal. kata kunci : intensitas, dakwah, instagram, orientasi religius
