Abstract

In planning a flexible pavement, it is necessary to take into account the growth in traffic levels, and the factors that can affect the level of economic and social growth. In general, this means that in planning flexible pavements, the level of traffic volume can be used as an indicator of the level of community welfare. Most of the vehicles protecting the Cakung-Cilincing road section are heavy vehicles carrying large loads and above 13 tons as a means of supporting their profession. Many factors on the Cakung - Cilincing road cause damage to the road before the design date. As for the vehicle factor, in an outline the cargo from the pickup / truck protecting Jalan Jalan Cakung-Cilincing exceeds the maximum vehicle load limit, which results in the road being easily damaged. In this research, a comparison of flexible pavement planning on Jalan Cakung-Cilincing will be carried out using flexible pavement according to the component analysis of SKBI 1987 and the AASHTO 1993 method with a plan life of 10 years, as well as finding out the effect of the CBR number on pavement thickness. With the construction of the pavement, namely: road type 2/2 UD. The width of the road = 7 meters, the thickness of the surface layer (D1), the thickness of the upper foundation layer (D2), and the thickness of the bottom foundation (D3) are obtained from the calculation of the two methods. Jalan Cakung-Cilincing belongs to the classification of Arterial roads, while the pavement layer material is as follows: the surface layer (D1) is Laston MS 590, the upper foundation layer (D2) is class-A-crushed stone, the bottom foundation layer (D3) is class-A-Sirtu. The CBR value has the most influence on the sub-base layer, with a difference of 24 cm to 31 cm thinner when using the AASHTO Method compared to the Component Analysis Method (MAK) of SKBI 1987. Keywords: Flexible pavement, pavement thickness, 1987 SKBI method, 1993 AASHTO. method Dalam merencanakan perkerasan lentur jalan, perlu diperhitungkan tingkat pertumbuhan lalu lintas, dan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi dan sosial. Secara umum hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa dalam merencanakan perkerasan lentur, tingkat volume lalu lintas dapat dijadikan indikator pada tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat. Sebagian besar kendaraan yang melintasi ruas jalan Cakung – Cilincing adalah kendaraan berat mengangkut muatan besar dan diatas 13ton sebagai sarana pendukung profesi mereka. Banyak faktor pada jalan Cakung - Cilincing yang menyebabkan terjadinya kerusakan pada jalan sebelum umur rencana. Ada pun dari faktor kendaraan, secara garis besar muatan dari truk/pick up yang melintasi Jalan jalan Cakung - Cilincing melebihi batas maksimum muatan kendaraan, yang mengakibatkan jalan mudah rusak. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan perbandingan perencanaan perkerasan lentur di ruas Jalan Cakung – Cilincing menggunakan perkerasan lentur metode analisa komponen SKBI 1987 dan metode AASHTO 1993 dengan umur rencana 10 tahun, serta mencari tahu pengaruh angka CBR terhadap tebal perkerasan. Jalan Cakung – Cilincing termasuk klasifikasi jalan Arteri, adapun material lapisan perkerasan jalan adalah sebagai berikut: lapisan permukaan (D1) adalah Laston MS-590, lapisan pondasi atas (D2) adalah Batu pecah kelas a, lapisan pondasi bawah (D3) adalah Sirtu kelas A. Nilai CBR paling berpengaruh terhadap lapis pondasi bawah, dengan selisih 24 cm hingga 31 cm lebih tipis jika menggunakan Metode AASHTO dibanding dengan Metode Analisa Komponen (MAK) SKBI 1987.
