Abstract

The barbershop business as a place for men's haircut treatments has now developed in Indonesia. Barberbox is a barbershop with 14 branches throughout Indonesia that uses Instagram social media, @theboxteam_, to maintain relationships with its customers. In practice, Barberbox is less able to maximize Instagram @theboxteam_ media to respond to questions from followers. This study aims to determine the Barberbox Public Relations Activities in managing customers on Instagram Social Media. This study discusses how Barberbox Public Relations Activities. The theory that the researchers used in this study consisted of two theories, namely Public Relations Activities and Cyber PR. The paradigm used in this research is post-positivism with a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. The research subjects in this study are organizations with data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews and observation. The data obtained were tested using theory triangulation by comparing research findings with the concepts used. The results of this study are the Public Relations Activities that Barberbox is doing is utilizing Instagram social media to disseminate the latest information about the latest hairstyles, daily ootd, the latest pomades and also we inform customers that at Barberbox. And the results of the study also found that Barberbox fostered customer relationships through social media by responding to comments and replying dirrect massages so customers can feel satisfied with Barberbox services to customers. Keywords:, Public Relations Activities, Customer Relations, Barberbox Bisnis barbershop sebagai tempat treatment pangkas rambut pria kini sudah berkembang di Indonesia. Barberbox merupakan salah satu barbershop yang memiliki 14 cabang yang tersebar di Indonesia yang memanfaatkan media sosial Instagram yakni @theboxteam_ untuk menjaga hubungan dengan pelanggannya. Pada pelaksanaannya Barberbox kurang dapat memaksimalkan media Instagram @theboxteam_ untuk menanggapi pertanyaan-pertanyaan dari followers. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Aktivitas Public Relations Barberbox dalam pengelolaan pelanggan di Media Sosial Instagram. Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana Aktivitas Public Relation Barberbox. Teori yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua teori yaitu Aktivitas Public Relations dan Cyber PR. Paradigma yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah post-positivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah organisasi dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Data yang didapat diuji menggunakan triangulasi teori dengan membandingkan hasil temuan penelitian dengan konsep yang digunakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Aktivitas Public Relations yang Barberbox lakukan adalah memanfaatkan media sosial Instagram untuk menyebarkan informasi terbaru mengenai gaya rambut terbaru, ootd sehari-hari, pomade-pomade terbaru dan juga kami menginfokan kepada pelanggan bahwa di Barberbox. Dan hasil penelitian juga ditemukan Barberbox membina hubungan customer lewat media sosial yaitu dengan cara mengrespon komentar dan membalas dirrect massage agar pelanggan dapat merasa puas dengan pelayanan Barberbox kepada pelanggan.
