Abstract

vi ABSTRAK Kelancaran sebuah proses produksi dapat dilihat dari beberapa sisi, salah satunya dapat dilihat dari input raw material yang di produksi dibandingkan dengan produk yang dihasilkan dan juga limbah produk yang dihasilkan. Kemudian dalam proses produksi ide-ide atau usulan perbaikan dan pengembangan secara terus menerus tentunya sangat dibutuhkan bagi perusahaan sebagai dasar perbaikan proses produksi agar lebih baik dan ekonomis, sehingga dapat menaikkan moral dan performa perusahaan. Pada perusahaan bumu masak cair PTA dalam proses produksi di bagian pencucian saringan akhir produk dijumpai kegiatan menampung produk untuk di buang sehingga menghasilkan limbah produk yang menjadi perhatian utama bagi Top Management karena dirasa sangat merugikan perusahaan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut Top Management menginginkan adanya tindakan cepat untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut, sehingga dilakukan aktivitas pengembangan saringan akhir produk bumbu masak cair yang direncanakan dengan baik dan memperhatikan kebutuhan pelanggan maka maksud tersebut dapat dicapai. Diawali dengan observasi lapangan, survei pendahuluan sebagai input untuk melakukan survei, penentuan atribut kebutuhan dan pada akhirnya data yang telah dikumpulkan tersebut diolah dengan suatu proses atau mekanisme terstruktur untuk menentukan kebutuhan dan menterjemahkan kebutuhan-kebutuhan itu ke dalam kebutuhan teknis yang relevan, dimana masing-masing area fungsional dan level organisasi dapat mengerti dan bertindak menggunakan Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Kata kunci : Desain ulang, Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Mengurangi limbah produk. ABSTRACT The smoothness of a production process can be seen from several sides, one of which can be seen from the input of raw materials produced compared to the products produced and also the waste product produced. Then in the process of producing ideas or proposals for continuous improvement and development it is of course very much needed for the company as a basis for improving the production process so that it is better and more economical, so as to increase morale and performance of the company. PTA liquid cooking company in the production process in the final product filter washing was found to accommodate the product to be disposed of so as to produce product waste which is a major concern for Top Management because it is considered to be very detrimental to the company. Based on these problems, Top Management wants quick action to solve the problem, so that the final filter development activities for the liquid cooking spice products are planned well and take into account the needs of the customer, so that purpose can be achieved. Beginning with field observations, preliminary surveys as input for conducting surveys, determining the attributes of needs and finally the data collected is processed with a structured process or mechanism to determine needs and translate those needs into relevant technical needs, where each each functional area and organizational level can understand and act using Quality Function Deployment (QFD).
