Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self regulated learning, rumination and academic procrastination. The research approach is a quantitative approach. The research sample was 135 students at the final level of the psychology faculty of Mercu Buana University in Jakarta. In this study the sampling technique used was purposive sampling, where the determination of respondents based on the criteria targeted in the study. The measuring instrument used in this study is a measure of self regulated learning, rumination and academic procrastination. Data analysis techniques were used using Spearman Correlation analysis. The results of the study can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between self regulated learning and academic procrastination and there is a positive relationship between rumination and academic procrastination. In this study a regression test was also conducted which results in the influence of self regulated learning and academic procrastination and the influence between rumination and academic procrastination. Keywords: Self Regulated Learning, Rumination, Academic Procrastination Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara self regulated learning, ruminasi dan prokrastinasi akademik. Pendekatan penelitian adalah dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian merupakan mahasiswa/i tingkat akhir fakultas psikologi Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta sebanyak 135 responden. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dimana penentuan responden berdasarkan kriteria yang di targetkan dalam penelitian. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah alat ukur self regulated learning, ruminasi dan prokrastinasi akademik. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan menggunakan analisis Korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara self regulated learning dengan prokrastinasi akademik dan terdapat hubungan positif antara ruminasi dengan prokrastinasi akademik. Pada penelitian ini juga dilakukan uji regresi yang hasilnya terdapat pengaruh antara self regulated learning dengan prokrastinasi akademik dan terdapat pengaruh antara ruminasi dengan prokrastinasi akademik.
