Abstract

DKI Jakarta as the Capital of the Republic of Indonesia is the center of all activities, compared to the other cities in Indonesia. The density of the city of Jakarta is due to the increasing process of rapid urbanization. With the rapid movement of population activity, the rapid movement of private transportation densities is difficult to avoid, causing traffic densities that are so dense. One of the efforts made by the DKI Jakarta government is the improvement and provision of mass transportation with the transit system. Which is where some areas around Jakarta have started implementing a TOD (Transit Oriented Development) system. One area that has implemented the TOD system is the area around of the Cipete MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) station, which is also the location of the final architectural design in the form of an integrated Hotel & MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) supporting facility (Mixed use) with Cipete MRT Station. The existence of the Hotel & MICE (Mixed use) supporting facilities building is able to accommodate basic human activities, from work, recreation, and resting places as well as being an effective solution in overcoming congestion and facilitating all activities. Key words : TOD (Transit Oriented Development), MRT (Mass Rapid Transit), Hotel, MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition), Final Architectural Design. DKI Jakarta sebagai Ibukota Negara Indonesia merupakan pusat dari semua kegiatan aktivitas di banding dengan kota-kota lain di Indonesia. Kepadatan kota Jakarta disebabkan karena meningkatnya proses urbanisasi yang begitu cepat. Dengan pesatnya pergerakan aktivitas penduduk, pesat pula pergerakan kepadatan transportasi pribadi yang sulit dihindari sehingga menimbulkan kepadatan lalulintas yang begitu padat. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah DKI Jakarta adalah peningkatan dan penyediaan transportasi massal dengan sistem transit. Yang dimana beberapa kawasan sekitar Jakarta sudah mulai menerapkan sistem TOD (Transit Oriented Development). Salah satu kawasan yang sudah menerapkan sistem TOD adalah kawasan sekitar stasiun MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) Cipete, dimana sekaligus menjadi lokasi perancangan arsitektur akhir yang berupa bangunan fasilitas pendukung Hotel & MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) (Mixed use) yang terintegrasi dengan Stasiun MRT Cipete. Adanya bangunan fasilitas pendukung Hotel & MICE (Mixed use) ini mampu mewadahi kegiatan-kegiatan dasar manusia, mulai dari bekerja, rekreasi, dan tempat beristirahat serta menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam mengatasi kemacetan dan mempermudah segala kegiatan. Kata kunci : TOD (Transit Oriented Development), MRT (Mass Rapid Transit), Hotel, MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition), Perancangan Arsitektur Akhir.
