Abstract

In column planning there are many possible variations in the cross section that can be used. Rectangular and square columns are the most widely used column types because they are easy to carry out and they are cheap to manufacture. The research, which was conducted from April 2020 - September 2020, tries to do a comparative analysis of the effective column width and height dimensions without changing the design of other structural components with 3 kinds of comparisons, namely 2: 3, 1: 2 and 3: 4. The method used is dynamic analysis spectrum response with analysis calculations using the ETABS v.9.7.2 program. 2. Of all the column comparison models that have been analyzed, the column design with a column width and height ratio of 3: 4 has the most effective performance for the Y direction because the deviation results are closer to the deviation allowance limit compared to other models. 3. For the performance of the column in the X direction, the results of preliminary 2 modeling or the ratio of the width and height of the column are 1: 2 which has the most effective value. Key words: Column, Comparisons, Width, Height Pada perencanaan kolom banyak kemungkinan variasi penampang yang bisa digunakan. Kolom bersengkang segi empat dan bujur sangkar merupakan jenis kolom yang paling banyak digunakan karena pelaksanaan pekerjaannya mudah dan harga pembuatanya murah. Penelitian yang dilakukan sejak April 2020 – September 2020 ini mencoba melakukan analisis perbandingan dimensi lebar dan tinggi kolom efektif tanpa mengubah desain komponen struktur lainnya dengan 3 macam perbandingan, yaitu 2 : 3, 1 : 2 dan 3 : 4. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis dinamik respons spektrum dengan perhitungan analisis menggunakan program ETABS v.9.7.2. 2. Dari semua model perbandingan kolom yang telah dilakukan analisa simpangan didapatkan desain kolom dengan perbandingan lebar dan tinggi kolom sebesar 3 : 4 yang memiliki kinerja paling efektif untuk arah Y karena hasil simpangan yang lebih mendekati batas ijin simpangan dibandingkan dengan permodelan lainnya. 3. Untuk kinerja kolom arah X didapatkan hasil permodelan preliminary 2 atau perbandingan lebar dan tinggi kolom sebesar 1 : 2 yang memiliki nilai paling efektif.
