Abstract
At this stage of development, the most influential factor in highrise building structure design is the strength of the building structure which is related to the security and the durability of the building with holding and accommodating the load in the structure. The lower structure is the foundation and structure of a building where is below the surface of the ground that has function of bearing the load of the building on it. In the construction of the Boarding House building, the lower structure that consists of foundation and pile cap. The selection of bored pile foundations for the Boarding House building project is due to location of the project in a densely populated area as we know that the bored pile drilling process does not cause noise and vibration disturbances that creates any danger of the surrounding buildings and also there is no risk of ground-level rise. The method of bored pile foundation on this project is by using boring machine. The practical work was conducted by examining conditions in the field. The purpose of this practical work is to find out the work of bored pile and pile cap directly in the Boarding House building project. The conclusion of this report is the method of implementation is very influential on the results of a job. It means to get an efficient and effective job is based on good time, cost and quality. Keywords: Lower Structure, Bored Pile, Pile Cap Pada tahap pembangunan faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam perencanaan struktur bangunan bertingkat tinggi adalah kekuatan struktur bangunan, dimana faktor ini sangat terkait dengan keamanan dan ketahanan bangunan dalam menahan dan menampung beban yang bekerja pada struktur. Struktur bawah (lower structure) yang dimaksud adalah pondasi dan struktur bangunan yang berada di bawah permukaan tanah atau bagian bangunan yang terletak di bawah permukaan tanah yang mempunyai fungsi memikul beban bagian bangunan lainnya di atasnya. Pada pembangunan gedung Boarding House, struktur bawah terdiri dari pondasi dan pile cap. Pemilihan pondasi bored pile untuk proyek gedung Boarding House dikarenakan lokasi proyek di area padat penduduk sebagaimana diketahui proses pengeboran bored pile tidak menimbulkan gangguan suara dan getaran yang membahayakan bangunan sekitarnya dan juga tidak ada risiko kenaikan muka tanah. Untuk pengerjaan pondasi bored pile di proyek ini menggunakan metode mesin boring. Penelitian dilakukan dengan meneliti kondisi di lapangan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui secara langsung pekerjaan bored pile dan pile cap pada proyek Boarding House Kuningan. Dari hasil laporan dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pelaksanaan sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil suatu pekerjaan. Dalam pelaksanaan suatu pekerjaan metode pelaksanaan dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan yang efisien dan efektif, baik dilihat dari segi waktu, biaya, mutu, dan lingkup kerja. Kata Kunci: Struktur Bawah, Bored Pile, Pile Cap.
