Abstract

One location that has high mobility is an intersection area Kampung Gaga Kalideres which is a not signaled intersection. Intersection is the point where all direction of movement of intersection meet. In this intersection often happens in traffic jams. Traffic jams is caused by many obstacles such as cessation of passenger vehicles to raise and lower passengers, Kalideres rail station which is 35 meters from the intersection and there is access to the toll road that is not far from the intersection, thus affecting the performance of the section around the intersection. This study aims to determine the performance of un-signalized intersection and roads, measured by capacity, degree of saturation, speed chance of queuing, density, level of service, and can provide alternative solutions. The method used for the research is the manual method of Indonesian road capacity (MKJI 1997). Data obtained by traffic surveys, geometric intersection, speed on roads, vehicle volumes, queue opportunities, and degree of saturation. From the results of analysis and processing of data, the intersection capacity value from the observation result obtained by the intersection of performance and peak traffic flow volumes occur Monday, 10
