Abstract
Central Jakarta is one of the regions that are developing at the moment. This is apparent from various development activities happening, of course. Central Jakarta need space adequate enough traffic to accommodate the volume of traffic moving to and from the activity center or settlement. Whereas the growth of road in Central Jakarta is very less, along with bertambanya vehicles using the road. So the need for management and traffic engineering. The way Abdul Muis and the Glory is a liaison with prudence the main road to harmony and Sudirman. The research method used in accordance with the provisions of the Manual of road capacity Indonesia (MKJI) 1997. For the collection of primary data that is by conducting a field survey in the form of geometric data, the volume of road vehicles, as well as the timing of traffic signals. While secondary data include a map and the size of the city. From the results of the research note that the highest volume vehicle at the junction of Abdul Muis – Budi Kemuliaan, Central Jakarta occurred on Friday afternoon. Based on the analysis of the obtained value of the highest degree of saturation, i.e. 1.09 as well as the value of the tundaan average of simpang 160.18 det/smp, with a cycle that is 190 minutes so service levels are at a Level of Service (LOS) F. This showed that at simpang Abdul Muis – Budi Glory, Central Jakarta for further handling to reduce the congestion that occurs. Keywords: intersection,signalized intersection, MKJI 1997, the level of service lintas bergerak dari dan ke pusat kegiatan maupun pemukiman. Sedangkan pertumbuhan jalan di Jakarta Pusat sangat kurang, seiring dengan bertambanya kendaraan yang menggunakan jalan. Sehingga perlu adanya manajemen dan rekayasa lalu lintas yang dinamis. Jalan Abdul Muis dan Jalan Budi Kemuliaan merupakan penghubung jalan utama ke harmoni dan Sudirman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan sesuai dengan ketentuan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997. Untuk pengumpulan data primer yaitu dengan melakukan survey lapangan berupa data geometrik jalan, volume kendaraan, serta waktu sinyal lalu lintas. Sedangkan data sekunder meliputi peta dan ukuran kota. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa volume kendaraan tertinggi pada simpang Abdul Muis – Budi Kemuliaan, Jakarta Pusat terjadi di hari Jumat pada sore hari. Berdasarkan analisis diperoleh nilai derajat kejenuhan tertinggi yaitu 1,09 demikian juga dengan nilai tundaan simpang rata-rata sebesar 160,18 det/smp, dengan waktu siklus yaitu 190 detik sehingga tingkat pelayanan berada pada Level of Service (LOS) F. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa pada simpang Abdul Muis – Budi Kemuliaan, Jakarta Pusat membutuhkan penanganan lebih lanjut untuk mengurangi kemacetan yang terjadi.
