Abstract

Film is one form of mass media film not only as a medium of entertainment but the story in a movie also has a symbolic meaning, and there is a moral message. The story of a film also tries to repress the social phenomena found in our daily lives. As story the most populous story on The Inside Man movie. This study was conducted to find out how the representation of political intrigue on film. The Inside Man, by using the Representation Theory lyasan in the book Representation Curtural Represenstation and and Signifaying Practice, Stuart Hall. this research uses qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The research method used is Semiotics analysis by observing the film The Inside Man
