Abstract
The increasing penetration of the internet and social media use in Indonesia has encouraged the emergence of interest-based virtual communities, including online gaming communities characterized by intensive communication dynamics. The Petani Hay Day community on platform X serves not only as a space for sharing game-related information but also as a site for developing supportive digital interpersonal communication through help talk. This study employs an interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach and netnography method, supported by Supportive Communication Theory and Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) to analyze patterns of digital interpersonal communication in help talk practices. The findings indicate that help talk is structured through a circular communication pattern involving reciprocal processes of help-seeking, help-giving, and help-sharing, dominated by text-based messages and the use of features such as replies, emoticons, hashtags, and mentions. These responsive and contextual interactions demonstrate that interpersonal communication in digital spaces can foster solidarity, trust, and supportive social relationships. Keywords: Digital Interpersonal Communication, Help Talk, Netnography, Virtual Community, Hay Day Meningkatnya penetrasi internet dan penggunaan media sosial di Indonesia mendorong terbentuknya komunitas virtual berbasis minat, termasuk komunitas game online yang memperlihatkan dinamika komunikasi yang intens. Komunitas Petani Hay Day di platform X tidak hanya menjadi ruang berbagi informasi permainan, tetapi juga membangun praktik komunikasi interpersonal digital yang suportif melalui help talk. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode netnografi, serta didukung oleh Supportive Communication Theory dan Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi interpersonal digital dalam praktik help talk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa help talk terbentuk melalui pola komunikasi sirkular yang melibatkan proses timbal balik antara help-seeking, help-giving, dan help-sharing, dengan dominasi pesan teks serta pemanfaatan fitur reply, emotikon, hashtag, dan mention. Interaksi yang berlangsung secara responsif dan kontekstual tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal di ruang digital mampu membangun solidaritas, rasa saling percaya, dan relasi sosial yang suportif.
