Abstract
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) plays a crucial role in construction activities, particularly in drilling soil investigation work, which carries a high risk of accidents. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) as risk control instruments in field operations. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method, involving field observations, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to workers and project supervisors. The collected data were analyzed through validity and reliability testing to identify the relationship between OHS implementation and the effectiveness of accident risk control. The results show that the effectiveness of OHS implementation through SIKA and JSA is influenced by three main factors: field supervision, compliance with safe work procedures, and workers’ understanding of potential hazards. SIKA ensures job readiness and safety clearance before execution, while JSA helps identify hazards at each stage of the drilling process. The combination of both systems enhances work discipline, reduces accident risk, and improves productivity in project execution.
