Abstract

The writing of this artwork aims to describe the process of creating festival fashion products and festival fashion products that combine hanging bark with textile materials. The creation of the festival's clothing goes through several stages in the creation of fashion, these stages are exploration, design and realization. The creation is focused on the hanging bark as a material for making festival outfits. The exploration stage consists of observing the colors used in most festival clothes and observing the development of festival fashion models, observing the characteristics of hanging bark, and making alternative sketches of design designs. The stages of design in the form of making and design patterns. The embodiment stage is the process of making works. The concept of the creation of this art work exploits material from nature, namely the hanging bark which is processed and shaped according to the reflesia flower which is the icon of Bengkulu city. The work that was realized in order to be able to menai velue hanging tree bark. Keywords: Clothing, Fashion, Festival, Leather Hanging. Penulisan karya seni ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penciptaan produk busana festival dan hasil busana festival yang mengkombinasikan kulit kayu lantung dengan bahan tekstil. Penciptaan busana festival ini melalui beberapa tahapan dalam penciptaan busana, tahapan tersebut adalah eksplorasi, perancangan, dan perwujudan. Penciptaan difokuskan pada kulit kayu lantung sebagai bahan pembuatan busana festival. Tahapan eksplorasi berupa pengamatan tentang warna yang digunakan kebanyakan busana festival dan berupa pengamatan perkembangan model busana festival, pengamatan karakteristik bahan kulit kayu lantung, dan pembuatan sketsa alternatif rancangan desain. Tahapan Perancangan berupa pembuatan dan pola desain. Tahap perwujudan adalah proses pembuatan karya. Konsep penciptaan karya seni ini mengeksploasi bahan dari alam yaitu kulit kayu lantung yang diolah dan dibentuk menyesuai bunga reflesia yang menjadi ikon kota Bengkulu. Hasil karya yang diwujudkan supaya dapat menaiakan velue kulit pohon lantung. Kata Kunci : Busana, Fashion, Festival, Kulit Lantung.
