Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of supervisor support, selfleadership, and co-worker support on remote work among PT employees. Data Communication Means. The background to this research is the Covid-19 pandemic at the beginning of 2020 which accelerated the implementation of remote work in various sectors. While not new, this practice is gaining popularity as a modern work paradigm that offers flexibility and efficiency, but also poses challenges in coordination, communication, and employee engagement. In addition, this phenomenon shows that remote work is not just a trend, but is a big change that needs to be managed well. Therefore, this research was conducted to examine in more depth the factors that influence the effectiveness of remote work, especially at PT Sarana komunikasi Data. The population in this study were employees of PT Sarana komunikasi Data. The sample used was 73 employees. The sampling method uses a saturated sampling technique, namely a method of taking samples from all members numbering below or less than 100.The data collection method uses a survey method, with the research instrument, namely a questionnaire using the Linkert scale as a questionnaire research tool. The data analysis method uses Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this research show that supervisor support has a positive and significant effect on remote working, self-leadership has a positive and significant effect on remote working, and co-worker support has a negative and insignificant effect on remote working. The R-Square value of 0.713 indicates that the three variables are able to explain 71.3% of the variation in remote working, the remainder is influenced by other factors outside the model. The implications of this research confirm that remote working is not only fulfilled by supervisor support, self-leadership, and co-worker support, but also other external aspects that have not been researched. Therefore, management needs to strengthen internal factors such as adaptive leadership, support for teamwork, and increasing individual capacity, while also considering external factors so that remote working can run more optimally. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh supervisor support, self-leadership, dan co-worker support terhadap remote working pada karyawan PT. Sarana Komunikasi Data. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 awal tahun 2020 mempercepat adopsi remote working di berbagai sektor. Meski bukan hal baru, praktik ini semakin populer sebagai paradigma kerja modern yang menawarkan fleksibilitas dan efisiensi, namun juga menimbulkan tantangan dalam koordinasi, komunikasi, dan keterikatan karyawan. Selain itu, fenomena ini menunjukan bahwa remote working tidak hanya sekedar tren, melainkan perubahan besar yang perlu dikelola dengan baik. Oleh karen itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji lebih dalam faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas kerja jarak jauh, khususnya di PT Sarana Komunikasi Data. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT Sarana Komunikasi Data. Sampel yang di pergunakan adalah sebanyak 73 karyawan. Metode penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yaitu salah satu metode pengambilan sampel berasal dari semua anggota berjumlah dibawah atau kurang dari 100. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey, dengan instrumen penelitian yaitu kuesioner menggunakan skala linkert sebagai alat penelitian kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa supervisor support berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap remote working, self-leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap remote working, dan co-worker support berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap remote working. Nilai R-Square sebesar 0,713 mengindikasi bahwa ketiga variabel mampu menjelaskan 71.3% variasi remote working, sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar model. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa remote working tidak hanya dipenuhi oleh supervisor support, self-leadership, dan co-worker support, tetapi juga aspek-aspek eksternal lain yang belum diteliti. Oleh karena itu, manajemen perlu memperkuat faktor internal seperti kepemimpinan yang adaptif, dukungan kerja sama tim, serta peningkatan kapasitas indivisu, sekaligus mempertimbangkan faktor eksternal agar remote working dapat berjalan lebih optimal.
