Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work compensation and employee commitment on the performance of Universitas Mercu Buana employees using the variables of employee motivation as mediated variables. The research method used uses a causal analysis design. Data was collected using questionnaires. The research respondents were lecturers and teaching staff of Universitas Mercu Buana. The total population is lecturers and teaching staff. The number of samples is 148 respondents. Modeling uses the structural model of the equation model—data processing using STATA version 5. The conclusions of my research are that work compensation affects employee performance at Mercu Buana University. There is effect between work compensation to employee motivation, there is effect between employee commitment and employee performance, there is no effect between employee commitment and employee motivation, there is effect between employee motivation and employee performance, employee motivation isn’t the mediated variable between work compensation dan employee performance, Keyword: employee performance, STATA version
