Abstract
This research aims to analyze the implementation of the 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) in store management to improve efficiency and work comfort at H.S Electronic Store. The problems faced by this store include disorganized merchandise, low work efficiency, and an uncomfortable work environment. This research employs a case study method with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to the store owner and employees. The research results show that the application of the 5S method can improve work efficiency and comfort in the store. The observation score increased by an average of 66.6%, particularly in the aspects of Seiri and Seiton, which showed quick results. Employees felt the ease of searching for items, a more comfortable working environment, and an improved professional appearance of the store. Although there are still challenges such as initial resistance and adaptation to a new work culture, the 5S method has proven effective in small stores. Keywords: 5S Method, Work Efficiency, Work Productivity, Electronics Store Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, dan Shitsuke) dalam pengelolaan toko guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan kenyamanan kerja di Toko H.S Electronic. Permasalahan yang dihadapi toko ini adalah penataan barang yang kurang rapi, rendahnya efisiensi kerja, serta lingkungan kerja yang tidak nyaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, kepada pemilik serta karyawan toko. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode 5S mampu meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan kenyamanan di toko. Skor observasi meningkat rata-rata 66,6%, terutama pada aspek Seiri dan Seiton yang menunjukkan hasil cepat. Karyawan merasakan kemudahan dalam pencarian barang, lingkungan kerja yang lebih nyaman, serta peningkatan tampilan profesional toko. Meskipun masih terdapat kendala seperti resistensi awal dan adaptasi budaya kerja baru, metode 5S terbukti efektif diterapkan di toko kecil.
