Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the deterioration of rigid pavement along Cicangkal Highway, Bogor Regency, by employing two pavement condition assessment methods: the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and the Surface Distress Index (SDI). The selected roadway serves as a critical transport corridor for heavy construction materials and is subjected to repetitive overloading, which accelerates both structural and functional pavement distress. A field survey was conducted over a 1.1 km segment using visual inspection techniques to classify damage types, severity levels, and extent. The collected data were analyzed to calculate PCI and SDI values, determine the statistical correlation between both indices, and formulate appropriate maintenance strategies. The findings indicate that the majority of the pavement segments fall into moderate to severe condition categories, with a notable correlation between PCI and SDI in representing pavement performance. Furthermore, this study proposes specific rehabilitation measures and cost estimations based on the identified distress, providing valuable insights for policymakers and engineers in implementing effective and sustainable pavement maintenance programs. Keywords: Pavement Condition Index (PCI), Surface Distress Index (SDI), road damage, correlation analysis, Cost Estimation Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kerusakan perkerasan jalan kaku pada ruas Jalan Raya Cicangkal, Kabupaten Bogor, dengan memanfaatkan dua metode penilaian kondisi perkerasan, yaitu Pavement Condition Index (PCI) dan Surface Distress Index (SDI). Ruas jalan ini merupakan jalur vital distribusi material konstruksi dan mengalami beban lalu lintas berat yang berulang, sehingga rentan mengalami degradasi struktural dan fungsional. Survei lapangan dilakukan sepanjang 1,1 km menggunakan metode inspeksi visual untuk mengidentifikasi jenis, intensitas, serta tingkat keparahan kerusakan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis untuk menentukan nilai PCI dan SDI, mengukur korelasi antar kedua metode, serta merumuskan strategi penanganan kerusakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar segmen jalan dikategorikan dalam kondisi sedang hingga rusak berat, dengan tingkat korelasi yang signifikan antara metode PCI dan SDI dalam menilai kondisi perkerasan. Penelitian ini juga menyusun rekomendasi teknik rehabilitasi dan estimasi biaya perbaikan berdasarkan jenis dan tingkat kerusakan yang teridentifikasi, sehingga dapat menjadi acuan bagi pihak terkait dalam perencanaan pemeliharaan jalan secara berkelanjutan.
