Abstract
This study aims to compare the results of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) calculations on Quantity Take-Off (QTO) using two software methods, namely Autodesk Revit and Tekla Structures. The objectives of this research are to examine the comparison of the QTO results and to identify the factors influencing those calculations. Based on a case study of structural work, significant differences in the BOQ values were found between the conventional method and BIM, with a 13.33% difference for steel work using Autodesk Revit, and 35.48% for Tekla Structures. For concrete work, the differences were 18.89% with Revit and 28.35% with Tekla. Although these differences exist, expert validation shows that the variations are still within reasonable limits. Factors influencing these discrepancies include differences in calculation methods, company policies in conventional CAD calculations, as well as the complexity of element designs and conflicts between structural elements. The study also found that the BIM method is more optimal when the entire planning and drawing document creation begins with BIM, making calculations more accurate and efficient. The benefits of this research include scientific contributions to universities, efficiency information for practitioners, as well as new knowledge for companies in implementing BIM. Research limitations include the analysis carried out on a specific housing project, focus on structural work, and the use of Revit, Tekla, Autocad, and Excel software. Keywords: QTO, BIM, Tekla Structure, Autodesk Revit Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil perhitungan Bill of Quantities (BOQ) pada Quantity Take-Off (QTO) dengan menggunakan dua metode perangkat lunak, yaitu Autodesk Revit dan Tekla Structures. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil perhitungan QTO dan mengidentifikasi faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi perhitungan tersebut. Berdasarkan studi kasus pada pekerjaan struktural, ditemukan selisih nilai BOQ yang signifikan antara metode konvensional dan BIM, yakni 13,33% untuk pekerjaan besi dengan Autodesk Revit, dan 35,48% untuk Tekla Structures, sementara perbedaan untuk pekerjaan beton adalah 18,89% pada Autodesk Revit dan 28,35% pada Tekla Structures. Meskipun terdapat selisih tersebut, hasil validasi pakar menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan ini masih berada dalam batas wajar. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi selisih tersebut antara lain perbedaan metode perhitungan, kebijakan perusahaan dalam perhitungan CAD konvensional, serta kompleksitas desain elemen struktur dan konflik benturan antar elemen. Ditemukan pula bahwa metode BIM lebih optimal apabila keseluruhan perencanaan dan pembuatan dokumen gambar dimulai dari BIM, sehingga perhitungan lebih akurat dan efisien. Manfaat penelitian ini meliputi kontribusi ilmu pengetahuan bagi universitas, informasi efisiensi bagi praktisi, serta pengetahuan baru bagi perusahaan dalam implementasi BIM. Batasan penelitian mencakup analisis yang dilakukan pada proyek perumahan tertentu, fokus pada pekerjaan struktur, serta penggunaan software Autodesk Revit, Tekla Structure, Autocad, dan Excel.
