Abstract
Penumpukan sampah organik menjadi salah satu masalah yang dapat menimbulkan banyak dampak negatif bagi lingkungan secara berkelanjutan terutama di DKI Jakarta sebagai salah satu kota penghasil sampah terbesar di Indonesia. Salah satu cara dalam mengurangi permasalahan tersebut yaitu mengolah sampah organik melalui budidaya maggot BSF yang dapat mengurangi sampah organik di rumah dengan waktu yang singkat. Namun, dengan keterbatasan informasi mengenai metode pengolahan sampah tersebut bagi masyarakat luas, membuat masyarakat di DKI Jakarta tidak mengetahui cara mengimplementasikan pengolahan sampah organik di rumah. Maka dari itu, buku infografis berjudul “Olah Sampah dengan Maggot BSF” dirancang guna memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat khususnya di DKI Jakarta mengenai pengolahan sampah organik melalui budidaya maggot BSF di rumah, sebagai salah satu metode pengolahan sampah yang efektif dan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi lingkungan maupun ekonomi. Buku infografis ini diharapkan dapat menjadi media informasi bagi masyarakat dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan menjaga lingkungan. The accumulation of organic waste is one of the problems that can cause many negative impacts on the environment in a sustainable manner, especially in DKI Jakarta as one of the largest waste producing cities in Indonesia. One way to reduce this problem is to process organic waste through BSF maggot cultivation which can reduce organic waste at home in a short time. However, with limited information about the waste processing method for the wider community, people in DKI Jakarta do not know how to implement organic waste processing at home. "Olah Sampah dengan Maggot BSF” infographic book is designed to provide information to the public, especially in DKI Jakarta, regarding organic waste processing through BSF maggot cultivation at home, as one of the effective waste processing methods that can provide benefits for the environment and the economy. This infographic book is expected to be a medium of information for the public and increase public awareness of protecting the environment.
