Abstract
Employee job satisfaction is a critical issue in the competitive banking industry, especially in Jakarta as the economic hub. Challenges such as high work pressure, digitalization, and workforce reduction pose risks to employee well-being and job satisfaction. Additionally, research indicates that financial sector workers in Indonesia are highly vulnerable to mental health issues. Resilience and social support are viewed as key factors that can help employees cope with such pressures. Resilience enables individuals to adapt to change, while social support can strengthen psychological resilience and enhance job satisfaction. This study employs a quantitative method with a correlational design, aiming to determine whether there is an influence between resilience and social support on job satisfaction. The research sample consists of 224 bank employees in Jakarta, obtained through accidental sampling. The instruments used in this study were the Spector Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) to measure job satisfaction, the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) to measure resilience, and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) for social support. Data analysis was conducted using Spearman’s Rho correlation test. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant positive influence between resilience and social support simultaneously on the job satisfaction of bank employees in Jakarta, meaning that the higher the resilience and social support received, the higher the level of job satisfaction felt by bank employees. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Resilience, Social Support, Bank Employees Kepuasan kerja karyawan menjadi isu krusial dalam industri perbankan yang kompetitif, terutama di Jakarta sebagai pusat ekonomi. Tantangan seperti tekanan kerja tinggi, digitalisasi, dan pengurangan jumlah tenaga kerja berisiko menurunkan kesejahteraan dan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Apalagi penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pekerja sektor keuangan di Indonesia sangat rentan mengalami gangguan kesehatan jiwa. Resiliensi dan dukungan sosial dipandang sebagai faktor penting yang dapat membantu karyawan menghadapi tekanan tersebut. Resiliensi memungkinkan individu beradaptasi dengan perubahan, sementara dukungan sosial dapat memperkuat ketahanan psikologis dan meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara resiliensi dan juga dukungan sosial terhadap kepuasan kerja. Sampel penelitian adalah 224 karyawan bank di Jakarta, diperoleh dengan teknik accidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Spector Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) untuk mengukur kepuasan kerja, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) untuk mengukur resiliensi, dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) untuk dukungan sosial. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Spearman’s Rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara resiliensii dan juga dukungan sosial secara simultan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan bank di Jakarta, yang berarti semakin tinggi resiliensi dan dukungan sosial yang diterima, semakin tinggi pula tingkat kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan oleh karyawan bank.
