Abstract
The 2024 Indonesian presidential election introduced a new dynamic through the rise of digital political participation among younger generations. One particularly notable phenomenon is the involvement of K-Pop fan communities in creative political campaigns on social media, especially through the X (formerly Twitter) account @aniesbubble, which supports presidential candidate number 01, Anies Baswedan. This study aims to examine the participatory culture form of Anies Baswedan's supporter community, consisting of K-Pop fans, in the context of the 2024 election campaign through the @aniesbubble account. Using a qualitative approach and Kozinets’ netnographic method, data were collected through the observation of online interactions and documentation of uploaded content during the campaign period. Data were analyzed using content analysis technique, and refer to Henry Jenkins’ concept of participatory culture. The findings reveal four main themes: (1) @aniesbubble as a space of digital connectivity for K-Pop fans' political engagement, (2) creative community expression, (3) spontaneous digital activism, and (4) support through viral hashtags. These results conclude that popular culture practices typical of fandoms can serve as innovative forms of youth political expression. This research offers new insights into how today’s digital political communication is shaped by the creativity and participatory culture of social media users. Keywords: Digital Political Campaign, Participatory Culture, K-Pop Fans Communities, X Account @aniesbubble, Netnography Pemilu 2024 menghadirkan dinamika baru melalui partisipasi politik digital oleh generasi muda.
