Abstract
This study aims to analyze the workload received by production operators and determine the optimal number of workers in the production department of CV. Salsa Mandiri Sejahtera. The variable studied in this research is the workload of production operators, measured in working hours. The sample consists of 15 operators spread across five workstations. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The data analysis methods applied are Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) and workload cause analysis using a fishbone diagram. The results show that the Assembly workstation is experiencing overload with an FTE value of 6.39, while the Sekat Baskrin Molding workstation is underloaded (FTE of 0.64 and 0.60). Meanwhile, other workstations such as Part Body Molding, Neck and Manhole Molding, and Finishing and Quality Control fall into the normal category. Based on the calculations, the optimal number of production operators required by the company is 17 people. Improvement recommendations include adding 2 operators to the Assembly workstation, redistributing tasks from overloaded to underloaded stations, and providing additional work facilities such as workbenches, grinders, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Keywords: Workload, Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), Production Operator Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beban kerja yang diterima oleh operator produksi serta menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja optimal di bagian produksi CV. Salsa Mandiri Sejahtera. Variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah beban kerja operator produksi yang diukur dalam satuan jam kerja. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 15 orang operator yang tersebar di lima stasiun kerja. Teknik pengambilan sampel Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), disertai analisis penyebab beban kerja menggunakan diagram fishbone. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stasiun kerja Perakitan mengalami overload dengan nilai FTE sebesar 6,39, sedangkan stasiun Pencetakan Sekat Baskrin mengalami underload (FTE 0,64 dan 0,60). Sementara itu, stasiun lain seperti Pencetakan Part Body, Part Leher dan Manhole, serta Finishing dan Quality Control berada dalam kategori normal. Kemudian, dari hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa operator produksi optimal yang dibutuhkan perusahaan adalah sebanyak 17 orang. Rekomendasi perbaikan meliputi penambahan 2 operator pada stasiun Perakitan, redistribusi tugas dari stasiun overload ke underload, dan penambahan fasilitas kerja seperti meja kerja, gerinda, dan alat pelindung diri (APD).
