Abstract

In the face of technological advancements, intensifying competition, and diverse customer demands, Business Process Improvement (BPI) has emerged as a key approach to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency for organizations. A primary focus of BPI today is the improvement of team performance and employee collaboration. This research outlines the challenges faced by PT Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk (NASI), a rice producer and supplier, particularly concerning slow approval processes, ineffective internal communication, and collaboration barriers between divisions. In this study, the author proposes the implementation of Business Process Improvement (BPI) to enhance the company's business processes. Business Process Improvement (BPI) methodology, the application of BPMN is highly crucial as it facilitates the organization in depicting existing business processes and identifying potential improvements. The researcher also incorporates the role of BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) in supporting BPI implementation, focusing on the analysis and optimization of business processes. By leveraging BPMN alongside BPI, organizations can identify areas that need enhancement, develop more effective processes, and achieve positive changes in the overall operational of PT. Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk. PT. Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk, with the hope of overcoming these challenges and improving team performance and employee collaboration. Through the implementation of Business Process Improvement (BPI), it is anticipated that a more efficient and effective system, processes, and work procedures will be established, enabling better exchange of ideas and information among divisions, and generating outputs that align with the organization's needs. This research utilizes the BPI method to propose a new overview of the business process flow with the aim of enhancing team performance and employee collaboration at PT. Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk. Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk Dalam menghadapi tekanan perubahan teknologi, persaingan yang semakin ketat, dan tuntutan pelanggan yang beragam, Business Process Improvement (BPI) telah menjadi pendekatan kunci untuk mengoptimalkan proses bisnis dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional suatu organisasi. Salah satu fokus utama BPI saat ini adalah peningkatan kinerja tim dan kolaborasi karyawan. Penelitian ini menggambarkan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh PT Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk (NASI), sebuah produsen dan pemasok beras, terutama terkait lambatnya proses persetujuan, komunikasi internal yang tidak efektif, dan hambatan kolaborasi antar divisi. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengusulkan penerapan Business Process Improvement (BPI) untuk memperbaiki proses bisnis perusahaan. Pada metode Business Process Improvement (BPI), penerapan BPMN menjadi sangat penting karena memfasilitasi organisasi dalam menggambarkan proses bisnis yang ada dan mengidentifikasi potensi perbaikan. Peneliti juga memakai peran BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation) dalam mendukung implementasi BPI dengan fokus pada analisis dan pengoptimalan proses bisnis. Dengan memanfaatkan BPMN bersama BPI, organisasi dapat mengidentifikasi area yang perlu ditingkatkan, mengembangkan proses yang lebih efektif, dan mencapai perubahan yang positif dalam operasional bisnis PT. Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk secara keseluruhan.PT. Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk, dengan harapan mengatasi hambatan tersebut dan meningkatkan kinerja tim serta kolaborasi karyawan. Melalui penerapan BPI, diharapkan tercipta sistem, proses, dan prosedur kerja yang lebih efisien dan efektif, memungkinkan pertukaran ide dan informasi yang lebih baik antar divisi, dan menghasilkan output yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode BPI untuk mengusulkan gambaran alur proses bisnis yang baru dengan tujuan meningkatkan kinerja tim dan kolaborasi karyawan di PT Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk.
