Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of environmental performance on firm value with profitability as a moderating variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2018-2022 period. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on theIndonesia Stock Exchange with a total of 214 companies. The sample of this study was obtained by using the purposive sampling method on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), based on the spesified sample criteria, a sample of 56 manufacturing companies for the 2018-2022 period, for 4 years there were 280 annual reports in the analysis. The data in this study are secondary data obtained from the IDX and the company's official website. The analytical method used in this research is SEM PLS using SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results of this study indicate that environmental performance has a positive effect on company value, and profitability is able to strengthen the relationship between environmental performance and company value. Keywords: Environmental Performance, Profitability, Firm Value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja lingkungan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel pemoderasi pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2018-2022. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI sejumlah 214 perusahaan. Sampel penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), berdasarkan kriteria sampel yang sudah ditentukan diperoleh sampel 56 perusahaan manufaktur periode 2018-2022, selama 5 tahun pengamatan terdapat 280 perusahaan tahunan di analisis. Data pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari BEI dan website resmi perusahaan yang bersangkutan. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu SEM PLS dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS versi 4.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja lingkungan berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan profitabilitas mampu memperkuat hubungan kinerja lingkungan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
