Abstract
The internet as a result of technological advances has given birth to new media that are in demand by the public, one of which is TikTok. This platform is often in the spotlight because of its various contents, including the content of "Bad Review of Jakarta City" on the TikTok account @inai2u. This study aims to determine the Influence of Bad Review Content of Jakarta City on the TikTok account @inai2u on the perceptions of 2021 Communication Science students at Mercu Buana University. This study uses the S-O-R (Stimulus-Organism-Response) Theory, this study analyzes how stimuli in the form of bad review content can influence student perceptions. This study used a survey method, using a questionnaire as an instrument in data collection. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, batch 2021, Mercu Buana University, with 76 respondents taken by purposive sampling. The results of the study showed that the regression equation Y = 35.964 + 0.892X, which means that there is a positive influence of bad review content on Tiktok social media on the perception of students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences 2021, Mercu Buana University. The determination coefficient value of 19.2% indicates that the perception of students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences 2021, UMB is influenced by bad review content on Tiktok social media. The hypothesis test is at 4.197> 1.665 which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, this states that there is a significant influence. Keywords: Perception, Audience, TikTok, Review Content, Media Influencer Internet sebagai hasil dari kemajuan teknologi, telah melahirkan media baru yang diminati Masyarakat, salah satunya TikTok. Platform ini kerap menjadi sorotan karena berbagai kontennya, termasuk konten “Review Buruk Kota Jakarta” di akun TikTok @inai2u. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Konten Review Buruk Kota Jakarta di akun TikTok @inai2u terhadap persepsi mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi 2021 Universitas Mercu Buana. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori S-O-R (Stimulus-Organism-Response), penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana stimulus berupa konten review buruk dapat mempengaruhi persepsi mahasiswa. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode survei, dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen dalam pengumpulan data. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi angkatan 2021 Universitas Mercu Buana, dengan 76 responden yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persamaan regresi Y=35,964+0,892X, yang mengartikan bahwa adanya pengaruh positif dari konten review buruk di media sosial Tiktok terhadap persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi 2021 Universitas Mercu Buana. Nilai koefisien determinasi 19,2% yang menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi 2021 UMB dipengaruhi oleh konten review buruk di media sosial Tiktok. Uji hipotesis berada di 4,197>1,665 yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, hal ini menyatakan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan.
