Abstract
This study was to determine the effect of compensation and work ethic on the employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable of employee PT. Dayakindo Kalimantan Utama Tebet Branch South Jakarta. The subject of this research are employees who work at PT. Dayakindo Kalimantan Utama Tebet Branch South Jakarta. The population in this study were 70 respondents using a quantitative descriptive approach. Determination of sample size using a saturation sample technique with a total of 70 all employees of PT. Dayakindo Kalimantan Utama Tebet Branch South Jakarta. The method analysis data used in this study is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with a Smart-PLS analysis tool. The results of this study show that the variables of compensation have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, work ethic have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work ethic have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation as mediation is able to influence compensation towards employee performance and work motivation as mediation is able to influence work ethic towards employee performance of PT. Dayakindo Kalimantan Utama Tebet Branch South Jakarta. Keywords: Compensation, Work Ethic, Work Motivation, Employee Performance Penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh kompensasi dan etos kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada karyawan PT. Dayakindo Kalimantan Utama Cabang Tebet Jakarta Selatan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja pada PT. Dayakindo Kalimantan Utama Cabang Tebet Jakarta Selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 70 responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penentuan ukuran sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dengan sampel 70 karyawan PT. Dayakindo Kalimantan Utama Cabang Tebet Jakarta Selatan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan alat analisis Smart-PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa variabel kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, etos kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, kompensasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, etos kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, motivasi kerja sebagai mediasi mampu mempengaruhi kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dan motivasi kerja sebagai mediasi mampu mempengaruhi etos kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT.
